Get A Pawn Loan

Wooden Indian Pawn Shop

Get a pawn loan from the Wooden Indian Pawn ShopGetting a pawn loan from the Wooden Indian Pawn Shop is easy. All you need is a government issued identification card with your picture and one or more items that we can use as collateral for the loan. If you have never received a short term cash pawn loan or borrowed money from us before, let us explain how to borrow money from the Wooden Indian Pawn Shop.

Getting a loan from the Wooden Indian Pawn Shop is not a personal loan based on a credit history. Your loan is based on the personal property that you bring to our store and that is used for the collateral. We make pawn loans between $5.00 and $25.000.00 to residents of Defiance, Toledo, Findlay, Lima, Sandusky, Marion and other cities in northwestern Ohio as well as Fort Wayne, Indiana residents.

To get a short term cash loan you must come to our store and bring some type of personal property that you can leave with us such as a gold ring, a power tool or a television. When you repay the loan, your merchandise is returned. We have many customers that have used the same items to get numerous loans over the years. If you don't repay the loan, there are no credit consequences and we simply sell the items you pawned.  We prefer that our loans are repaid because we understand that many items that are pawned have sentimental value to our customers.

The staff at the Wooden Indian Pawn ShopThe Wooden Indian Pawn Shop is a friendly place where you can obtain quick cash. We are just regular folks helping the community. Don't forget your picture ID.

Here are a few suggestions on getting a pawn loan:

1) Decide how much money you really need. If you have a specific amount in mind, it will make it easier for one of our friendly pawnbrokers to help you get the money you want.

2) Clean and check out the items you are going to bring to our store on Route 66 north of Defiance, Ohio. Sure, you can look around your basement or garage for items that haven't been used for awhile, but it is better if you turn on any electronics first to see if they work. It also helps to clean the items you bring into our store. If you are going to pawn a vehichle, it is always a good idea to give it a quick wash before coming by the Wooden Indian Pawn Shop.

3) Call us first to find out if there is a good chance that we will accept the items you are considering bringing to our store. While we can't provide appraisals over the phone, we can give you an idea if we will consider your items as collateral for a loan. For instance, we do not currently accept guns or firearms for pawn loans. We do accept a very wide range of items and are known throughout Ohio, eastern Indiana and southern Michigan as one of the few pawn shops that will take large items (cars, boats, RVs, ATVs, etc) as pledges.

4) Make sure that the items you want to pawn have all the proper parts and/or accessories. For example, if you are going to pawn a digital camera, make sure the memory card, battery and power cable are in the same box.

5) Make sure you bring proper identification. We will need to see a state issued picture ID.

6) Call us first if you have any questions. Our phone number is 419-784-9880 and we are open Monday through Saturday between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. You can also click here to contact our pawn loan expert .
